Quilting Ministry ...
The Mending Hearts Prayer Quilt Ministry provides quilts for loved ones who may be ill, grieving or facing other challenges in their lives. The quilts are displayed on the altar during Sunday morning worship service. As our church family prays for the quilt recipient's needs, knots are tied in the quilt, to represent each prayer.
The members of this ministry design and machine sew quilts, as well as prayer squares, which are given out to friends, family, and community members.
We welcome you to join us! No experience is necessary, as part of this ministry is teaching others. We always have a wonderful time, and the ministry team members are blessed as much as the recipients.
